As most Americans prepare for a long weekend, and the unofficial end of summer, we’re taking advantage of the holiday to spend time with family and friends. We’ll be back with a new post next week, but in the meantime, a reminder:
Our Seasons of Infertility one-day retreat for women will be held Saturday December 7 at the Mother Boniface Spirituality Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. We’d love you to join us for this day with our Springs in the Desert team for talks on processing our grief, ways of strengthening our marriages and personal relationships, and discerning a way forward in hope, to find that unique fruitfulness God is calling each of us to bring to flourishing. We’ll have time for personal reflection and prayer, as well as opportunities to share our own thoughts and stories with other women who struggle with infertility. For more information and the registration form, see our Seasons of Infertility page; or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We’re happy to answer your questions and hear your feedback.
Finally, we wish you and your family and friends a peaceful and relaxing weekend. We all carry our own burdens and sometimes labor in difficulty. But we don’t do it alone! God is with us in all things! And in this community of Springs the Desert, we are with each other. We are honored to walk, rest, and labor with you.
Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. ~Matthew 11:28-29
