Reflection – Second Friday in Lent

You know well enough that Our Lord does not look so much at the greatness of our actions, nor even at their difficulty, but at the love with which we do them. St. Therese of Lisieux

A Lenten Reflection:
The experience of infertility is often isolating, painful, and lonely, and sometimes these feelings can cause us to turn inward. Lent is a time to turn outward in love, and to take up practices that help us to become more aware of and responsive to the needs of others. Like Simon, we can help carry others’ crosses through our prayers.

A Lenten Action:
Spend 10 minutes today in prayer asking God to intercede for others in your life who are suffering: perhaps your friends who are also struggling with infertility, or people in your community who are sick, or families you know who have lost a loved one. God will generously bless your small act of love!
