Reflection – Third Friday in Lent

We must not wish anything other than what happens from moment to moment, all the while, however, exercising ourselves in goodness. – St. Catherine of Genoa

A Lenten Reflection:
With infertility, it is tempting to look ahead into the future with trepidation and to crumble under the weight of what God might be asking of you with your life. We easily fill ourselves with anxiety, worry, and fear that our desires will not be taken care of. Doesn’t the Lord know the exact number of hairs on our head? We need not live in fear of the future.

A Lenten Action:
Focus on living in each moment today. Take a deep breath. Thank Him for the present moment that you are living. Ask Him to fill you with a sense of daughterhood, that you are cared for personally, and that He will provide for you all that you need in this moment. Thank Him in advance for all that He is giving to you.
