Reflection – Sixth Friday in Lent

O my Lord, inflame my heart with love for You, that my spirit may not grow weary amidst the storms, the sufferings and the trials. – St. Faustina

A Lenten Reflection:
When we focus on our trials, it is easy to grow weak and disheartened. When we instead place ourselves before the loving gaze of the Lord, we come to rest in His all-encompassing, unconditional love for us and know that He is working ALL THINGS for our good (Romans 8:28).

A Lenten Action:
Kneel before a Crucifix and ask the Lord to reveal to you His unending love for you. Ask Him to hold you close in His arms and give you strength to bear your trials peacefully. Learn the Divine Mercy prayer and let it anchor you when you feel you are coming undone. Pray with St. Faustina, “Jesus, I trust in You!”
