Springs in the Desert: Catholic Infertility Ministry

Springs in the Desert accompanies many women and couples struggling with infertility and loss from across the United States and worldwide. Our team members are honored to walk with these couples, but without the contributions of our community members and volunteers, our work would not be possible!

If you have a heart for ministry and have been blessed through Springs in the Desert, we invite you to prayerfully consider getting involved! The needs of our ministry are evolving, so we invite you to get in touch with us if you have specific skills and talents you would like to contribute. Our current volunteer opportunities include:

  • Assistance with sponsorships and fundraising: 2-3 volunteer hours/month for outreach and fundraising campaigns
  • Small Groups Coordination: 2-3 volunteers to share in caring for our peer-lead small groups by fielding email inquiries, meeting with prospective group leaders, assisting with onboarding and training, assist the Communications Manager to keep group information up to date on our website, and helping to write new small group companions
  • YouTube Manager
  • LinkedIn Manager: 1-2 volunteer hours/month to manage content and raise our professional profile
  • Blog Writer
  • Social media content writer
  • Translator (English-Spanish; native speaker preferred)
  • Spanish-speaking couples interested in being on our retreat team

Springs of Love: Catholic Foster & Adoption Support

Our sister ministry, Springs of Love, is also looking for volunteers! Springs of Love encourages, educates and equips Catholics to discern and live out the call to foster and adopt, while creating communities of support to help cultivate a culture of foster care and adoption in our parishes.
