Reaching the end of any road we’re traveling can leave us with mixed emotions, especially when we have been trying to conceive. For some of us the road ends because of a definitive diagnosis, a chronic health condition, hysterectomy or other surgery, or the onset (or end) of menopause. For others, the road has been too long and we’re ready to either pause for a bit to rest, or to set down the burden and stop trying to conceive or continue treatment. If you have reached this fork in the road, we are here to walk the next steps with you.

The finality of a diagnosis or surgical procedure that leaves out the possibility of ever conceiving, or the realization that we have reached the age where our fertility window has closed can be tough to handle. We understand because many of us have reached that point. We want you to know that it’s okay to make the choice to lay down the burden of trying to conceive after undergoing treatments that often take a toll on your mental and physical health, and on your marriage. And it’s okay, and really important, to grieve the loss of your fertility due to a medical condition or through menopause. But we also want you to know that the end of fertility is not the end of your story. God loves you so much! And we, your sisters and brothers on this desert path, love and are here to support you as you take your first steps on a new road.

If you have reached that “fork in the road” of your fertility, we invite you to walk with us on a new path of hope toward the unique fruitfulness to which God is calling you. Our blog and video posts, podcast episodes and opportunities for community will introduce you to others who share many of the same feelings, fears and questions about “what’s next.” We invite you to explore our resources and let us know what topics we can address to help you feel most supported on this walk. Most of all, we want you to know that we are here with you every step of the way.
